Classification by Processing Object
Sheet-specific fiber laser cutting machines: Designed primarily for flat metal sheet cutting, these are the mainstream models in the sheet metal processing industry. Standard processing areas are typically 1500mm × 3000mm, with some large-format models reaching up to 4000mm × 20000mm; they support the efficient cutting of various metals, such as carbon steel and stainless steel.
Tube-specific fiber laser cutting machines: Designed specifically for round, square, and irregularly shaped tubes. Some models feature a four-chuck structure that enables automatic centering and zero-tailing cutting, making them widely used in tube processing and architectural hardware.
Integrated sheet and tube fiber laser cutting machines:Combine capabilities for processing both sheets and tubes, allowing for mode switching without changing equipment. They offer excellent cost-performance and are ideal for small-to-medium-sized factories handling diverse product types.
3D five-axis fiber laser cutting machines:Equipped with robotic arms or five-axis linkage systems, these machines perform 3D cutting on complex curved surfaces and angled workpieces. They serve as alternatives to traditional imported five-axis laser equipment and are commonly used for processing automotive hot-stamped parts and complex aerospace components.
Classification by Laser Power
Low-power models (1000W and below):Generally priced in the tens of thousands (RMB), these are suitable for precision cutting of thin metal sheets, gold and silver jewelry, and precision electronic components. They can achieve kerf widths as small as 0.1mm, and some desktop models are used for small-scale craft production.
Medium-power models (1500W–6000W): The most widely used mainstream models in the market. They offer stable cutting for carbon steel and stainless steel sheets ranging from 6mm to 20mm in thickness, balancing cutting speed with operating costs, and are suitable for the vast majority of sheet metal processing applications.
High-power/Ultra-high-power models (Above 10,000W): Current industry-leading power levels have surpassed 200,000W. Designed specifically for metal plates thicker than 30mm, these machines significantly boost thick-plate cutting efficiency and serve as core processing equipment in the heavy machinery and steel structure industries.
