Optical Lens Cleaning
Standard Lenses/Focusing Lenses: Fold lens cleaning paper several times and moisten it with a few drops of analytical-grade acetone. Gently wipe the lens surface in a single direction; do not apply pressure with your fingers. After repeating this process a few times, blow the lens dry with clean, dry air. For stubborn stains, roll a moistened piece of lens paper into a rod shape and wipe gently.
Reflective Mirrors: Place the mirror with the reflective side facing up. Lay lens paper over the surface, apply a few drops of acetone, and gently pull the paper across the mirror. Repeat until no residue remains, then reinstall the mirror in its mount. Uncoated molybdenum mirrors can be cleaned with soapy water; however, coated mirrors must never be cleaned with water, as this could dissolve or damage the coating.
Protective Windows: Before starting the machine each day, slide out the protective window drawer. Using a dust-free cloth moistened with analytical-grade ethanol, wipe from one side to the other in a single direction; do not wipe in a circular motion. Replace the sealing ring every three months to prevent dust ingress.
Cutting Head Component Cleaning
Nozzle Cleaning: Regularly check the nozzle for wear and remove any slag adhering to the beam exit. Apply a piece of transparent tape over the nozzle exit and fire a test pulse; observe whether the beam spot is centered. If the deviation exceeds 0.1 mm, make fine adjustments using the centering screws.
Z-Axis Guide Rail Cleaning: Loosen the small screw at the bottom and clean accumulated dust from the rail surface. Apply a small amount of food-grade molybdenum disulfide grease along the rail, taking care not to let it drip into the bearings, which could cause abnormal noise during operation.
